1960s
Frida Boccara (1969 Co-Winner)

The 60s saw Eurovision capture popular attention across the continent and become one of the TV events of the year in many participating countries.  France's three victories (one shared in 1969)  just put it ahead of a very strong decade for the UK.  1950s champs the Netherlands had a horrendous decade, finally salvaging a little pride as part of the four way tie in 1969.
